Asbestos Materials Management
and Asbestos Trakker System™

The Ontario Royal Commission on Matters of Health and Safety has concluded that occupational exposure to asbestos fibers is highly correlated to diseases of the lungs and the respiratory system in humans. Furthermore, asbestos containing materials (ACM) can be widespread, as asbestos is present in over 3000 consumer products, many of which are used in building materials such as floor tile, ceiling materials and pipe insulation. In response to this, ALL-TECH Environmental Services offers a comprehensive consulting package which includes the following:

Testing of facility components to identify asbestos containing materials.

On-site assessment of all asbestos materials using a computer-based Asbestos Trakker System™ which identifies the type, condition, quantity and location of all asbestos containing materials within a facility.

Visual identification of asbestos containing materials with the aid of floor plans, site drawings and digital image processing.

The generation of a final report which includes a compilation of laboratory results, on-site assessment conditions, digital images and AutoCAD® drawings identifying asbestos locations within a facility.

This important information is permanently stored and up-dated annually following the re-assessment of a facility. The purpose of the re-assessment is to confirm the condition of ACM in a facility to determine if it has deteriorated, moved or has been disturbed during routine facility activities. Government safety guidelines legislate that all occupational workplaces and facilities are required to maintain up-to date records of all asbestos containing materials to ensure employee protection. ALL-TECH Environmental Services can begin this process for you through our Asbestos Management program.
