 The development of technology has led to a strong movement in occupational safety. Employer activities are consistently under scrutiny because of heightened safety awareness. Employers and employees should mutually be aware of substances and conditions in the workplace that may impair human health. It is paramount to evaluate the scope of safety issues and to apply controls that will prevent employee harm.

Probable health hazards are associated with employee exposure to chemicals, vapours, dusts, heat stress, noise and potentially dangerous working conditions.

Occupational hygiene services are carried out by Certified Industrial Hygienists with experience in government, industry and commercial fields. Special programs are available upon request for noise abatement, respirator use, safety and health plans, chemical exposure and hazard awareness communication. Our intent is to assist our clients in fulfilling their legal responsibilities regarding occupational health as an employer, and to enable them to manage these responsibilities more easily and effectively within the context of day-to-day business activities.
